The MI-750 Digital Receiver has been designed with the latest technology to be the fastest system receiver in the industry. With measurement speed of 4,000,000 samples/second and built-in data management features, the MI-750 has the throughput capacity to get detailed measurement results that earlier may
have been prohibitively slow.
Combined with this sampling performance, is a world-class RF design offering receiver sensitivity to 150dBm and enabling a high dynamic range of 135dB.
The receiver operates in a wide variety of operating conditions and easily replaces network analyzers
and other receivers.
MI Technologies looks forward to providing options to our customers seeking
advanced microwave measurement systems with increased reliability and reduced complexity at a very
competitive price point.

AMTA 2010 was a huge success with MI Technologies taking "center-stage" at the conference to introduce the new MI "look" as well as to launch our new advanced digital receiver - the MI-750. We thank each and every attendee for your participation in making AMTA 2010 and MI's booth activity a big success. We thank you, too, for your attendance at the MI technical sessions. |

Technical Paper |

Presented at AMTA 2010
A Large Spherical Near-Field Arch Scanner for
Characterizing Low Frequency Phased Arrays
A spherical near-field arch based measurement system has been commissioned at a facility in Syracuse New York. This system is designed to test large phased array radars at low frequencies of operation. The near-field scanner system consists of a 10 meter radius arch with an active probe position error correction and a large azimuth axis capable of carrying large arrays.
With kind regards to Lockheed Martin and the co-authors for their contributions, MI Technologies’ Scott McBride presented at AMTA 2010. The paper is entitled
A Large Spherical Near-Field Arch Scanner for Characterizing Low Frequency Phased Arrays and is available for our Communicator readership.
The overall measurement system details are presented along with mechanical accuracies achieved for the scanner system. Details of the chamber and host facility are described. Finally, the paper concludes with measurements of a UHF-band Standard Gain Horn measured using the system. The challenges and benefits of such a system are highlighted.
