Service and support is important to MI Technologies.
Every company’s or organization’s service requirement and budget is based on its own scope of technical operations.
MI Technologies has developed flexible and integrated customer care plans to meet each organization's unique scheduled maintenance, calibrations and repair service needs. Whatever your individual range test challenges, with MI Technologies own ranges, we are ready to meet your unique test and measurement requirements. MI’s software maintenance plans in with S-WareCare, ensure users will have the latest technology and capabilities to deliver high system performance and even better productivity levels.
Meet a couple of our guys. They are just two of the talented MI’s Services and Support folks with whom you may have dealt only on the phone. Here you get a chance to know them a little better.

Jack Snyder has 35-plus years in antenna measurement. He began his career in engineering then moved in manufacturing engineering, range and facility management. He began his career in engineering then moved into manufacturing engineering, range and facility management. Jack went with Scientific-Atlanta in 1972 and moved along with the products and systems to MI Technologies in 1997. Now, our customers have the advantage of all those skillsets as Jack works in service and support. Many of you have met him when he’s worked at your facility. Others of you have only “met” him on the phone when you need immediate help.

As a 39-plus year veteran in the services
business, Don Weiss is one of the most highly qualified personnel within our strong force and the demands on his time are many. Don has over 35 years in antenna measurement and works both on the phone supporting customers and our own Field Service Engineers, then, goes into the field himself, as required. Don, like Jack, was with Scientific-Atlanta and came along with the founders of MI Technology. Don, also, is the big “behind-the-scenes” factor that makes MI’s AMTA booth and equipment so comprehensive and well-received at the annual symposium. While modest about his contributions, most MI folks deem Don invaluable. |
Jack Snyder and Don Weiss
are only two of the many services and support team we have at MI Technologies. These gentlemen are part of an overall unit that makes that organization the strongest in the industry. The strength of our Services and Support organization at MI Technologies is one of the most defining differentiators between us and our competitors. We ARE there after the installation and continue to be there whenever needed for many years after the initial sale.

Technical Paper Download

Presented at AMTA 2009, Mr. David Wayne provides a paper that speaks to a Portable RF Target Simulator.
Missile intercept engagements are unique in that they involve
highly dynamic relative motion in a short period of time.
This puts demanding requirements on the RF target
simulator to adequately present the desired phase slope,
amplitude, and polarization to the seeker antenna and
electronics under test. This paper describes a newly installed RF Target
Simulator that addresses these requirements in a unique
fashion.
