Antenna Test
MI
Technologies is the leading supplier of RF and Microwave antenna
test and measurement products, systems and services worldwide.
The business helped define the concept of microwave measurement
through the introduction of the first antenna pattern recorder
in the early 1950s. Over the years, the business has compiled an
impressive array of technology firsts including:
- The first automated commercial planar scanner
- The first compact range
- The first automated measurement system
- The first spherical near-field measurement system
Today, MI Technologies leads the industry with fast, reliable
and easy-to-use automated antenna test and measurement systems
for commercial and government satellite, wireless, and
automotive telematics applications.
The
MI-2097 Automated
Microwave Measurement System enables
users to fully automate the antenna measurement process from
setup to analysis to reports. The MI-3001 Data Acquisition and
Analysis Workstation is the user interface to all functions of
the measurement system. The MI-2097 features an integrated
MI-1797 Receiver configured to optimize speed performance at the
system level. The receiver allows users to take 10,000
measurements per second of Phase and Amplitude data with 90dB of
dynamic range in CW mode.
The versatile general-purpose
MI-3001
Data Acquisition and Analysis Workstations
serve as a baseline standard product that can be used to perform
a wide range of tests including standard antenna, radome, RCS,
component and S-Parameter measurements. In antenna measurements,
the MI-3000 family of products support compact ranges,
near-field and far-field ranges.
The
MI-3600 family of Antenna Measurement
Systems are ideally suited to meet the
needs of commercial wireless markets which include fixed and
mobile, voice and data communications antennas and devices.
Included in the family of products are 10 far-field antenna
pattern measurement systems with single and dual-axis
configurations (500 MHz to 6 GHz) and 10 near-field measurement
systems (400 MHz to 18 GHz) for indoor ranges.
