MI-56000 Family of Polarization Positioners
Description
 The
MI-56000 Family of Polarization Positioners is available to
support maximum loads of up to 3000 lbs. The bolt-hole pattern
on the positioner turntable is compatible with MI-Technologies
transmitting antennas and the mounting flanges for
MI-Technologies standard gain horns. A through-center hole
facilitates installation of coaxial cable, waveguide, rotary
joints, and RF components.
Several models in each load-rated category provide a wide range
of speed options. The optional limit switches may be set to
provide total travel from 20 degrees to 800 degrees. Unless
specified, the limit switches will be set for 400 degrees of
travel.

Ordering Information
Each MI-56000 positioner is delivered as a single unit.
1:1 and 36:1 synchros are installed on units with speeds less
than 5 rpm; only 1:1 synchros are installed on units with speeds
more than 5 rpm. Limit switches are not included on positioners
with speeds greater than 5 rpm.
An installed RF path through each positioner is ordered as an
option.
