Planar Spiral Scanning Technical Paper to
be Presented at AMTA
Dr. Carlo Rizzo, Director of
European Operations for MI Technologies, is co-authoring a paper for
presentation at AMTA 2007. The paper, entitled "NF-FF
Transformation with Planar Spiral Scan: An Effective Source Modeling
for Quasi-Planar Antennas," was authored with professors F.
D'Agostino, F. Ferrara, C. Gennarelli, R. Guerriero and M. Migliozzi
of the University of Salerno, Italy. The paper explores a new probe
compensated near-field to far-field transformation technique that
uses planar spiral scanning.
Solutions Center Provides Free
Personalized Consulting Sessions at
AMTA 2007
MI Technologies is making its
best engineering talent available for free, focused consulting
sessions on a wide range of test and measurement issues during AMTA
2007, November 4-8. The MI Technologies Solutions Center will be
open Monday through Thursday during AMTA in Directors Row #26 on the
2nd Floor of the Adams Mark Hotel. Participants can meet with MI
Technologies' engineers to discuss their particular antenna, radar
cross-section, and radome measurement or test range issues in a
casual, problem-solving environment.
Jeff Fordham, Vice President of Marketing for MI Technologies, said,
"AMTA's technical sessions provide good test and measurement theory
and application references. The MI Technologies Solution Center
offers experts in microwave measurements to listen, and provide
counsel on real-world problems such as range layouts, types of test
and measurement systems, test range automation, difficult
measurement tasks and errors and accuracy issues."
"We'll have our engineers, a white board and the time to listen and
talk about your test and measurement problems," Fordham said.
