MI Technologies Delivers Efficient
Automated Feed Exchangers to L3 Communications
MI
Technologies has completed construction of two large automated
compact range feed
exchangers for L3 Communications in Greenville, Texas. The automated feed
exchangers dramatically improve throughput time for antenna testing
by providing fast and accurate feed and RF component changes in the
test environment. Click

Spherical Near-Field Antenna
Measurements reviewed at Loughborough
Dr. Doren Hess, Senior
Staff Engineer at MI Technologies, attended the recent Loughborough
Antenna Propagation Conference April 2-3 and presented a paper
entitled "Spherical Near-Field Antenna Measurements: A Review of
Applications." In the paper, Dr. Hess provides a review of spherical
near-field scanning measurements with emphasis on the general
applicability of the technique and a survey of the various methods
used to improve measurement accuracy.

Expanded
Positioning Product Information Now Available Online
One of the reasons for MI Technologies' leadership in antenna
measurement systems is the breadth of its standard positioning and
motion control product lines. MI Technologies has recently posted
detailed descriptions and specifications for this entire series of
products on its web site,
www.mi-technologies.com. This in-depth information is now
readily available for positioning stackups, position controllers,
spherical arch scanners, planar scanners, field probes, gimbals and
many more product families.

MI Technologies Installs
State-of-the-Art Wireless Antenna Measurement System
MI Technologies is
under contract to design, build and install a state-of-the-art
wireless antenna test and measurement system for a leading antenna
manufacturer in the U.S. The new spherical near-field measurement
system will be used to test a wide variety of antennas from 750 MHz
to 6 GHz.

UCLA Short Course on Microwave Antenna
Measurements
Dr. Doren Hess and Dr. Don Bodnar
of MI Technologies are part of the stellar faculty scheduled to present
a four-day short course on Microwave Antenna Measurements May 15-18
in Los Angeles. The course, offered through the UCLA Extension
program, is an intensive study covering all aspects of the
measurement of microwave antenna characteristics.
