MI Technologies Names David Wayne Vice President, Engineering

Atlanta:  David (Dave) Wayne has been appointed Vice President, Engineering at MI Technologies, the Company announced.

In this position, Wayne is responsible for managing the Company's Engineering Group, which includes product development, contract engineering and development of hardware and software engineering solutions for customer data acquisition, analysis, measurement and control requirements. Wayne reports to John E. Breyer, president and CEO of MI Technologies.

In making the announcement, Breyer said, “Dave's very strong engineering background coupled with his excellent business skills make him uniquely qualified to contribute to our efforts to grow our Company, and to operate it efficiently and effectively.”

Wayne has held a variety of operations management and technical positions over the last 24-years. Prior to joining the MI Technologies staff, he served as Director of Operations at Advanced Control Systems in Atlanta for four years and prior to that at Avionics Displays Corporation of Norcross, Ga. as General Manager and Chief Operating Officer. Wayne was a member of the technical and management staff at Rockwell International Corporation, (later a Boeing Company) for more than 20 years. His later assignments include service as Director of Engineering for the Tactical Missile Systems Operation in Duluth, Ga.

Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
