MI Technologies Appoints Carlo Rizzo, PhD European Operations Manager

ATLANTA: MI Technologies has appointed Dr. Carlo Rizzo European Operations Manager.

In this new position, Dr. Rizzo will be responsible for all of MI Technologies’ sales activities in Europe including the solicitation of orders, maintaining customer relationships and coordination of sales representatives and distributors. He will oversee the Company’s European manufacturer representatives, marketing communications programs and coordinate MI Technologies’ product installations, customer training and support. Dr. Rizzo will maintain an office in the UK and report to Jeff Fordham, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, for MI Technologies.

Dr. Rizzo comes to MI Technologies with more than 10 years experience in microwave research and development, sales and marketing of antenna and radar cross section test and measurement facilities throughout Europe.

In making the announcement, Fordham said, “I am very pleased to bring Carlo on board to take on this new responsibility for MI Technologies. His technical and sales experience will help us work more effectively with our European customers and help us build more productive customer relationships.”

Dr. Rizzo holds a PhD degree in Antenna Measurements from the University of Sheffield, a Master of Science Degree in Radio Frequency Communication Engineering from the University of Bradford, a Certificate in Management from the UK’s Open University and a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of York.

A Chartered Engineer, Dr. Rizzo is a member of the IEE (The Institution of Electrical Engineers), the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) and the Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA).
