MI Technologies Hosts Georgia Tech Antenna Class

SUWANEE, GA:  MI Technologies hosted 25 members of the Georgia Tech Antenna Measurement Class at its Suwanee, Georgia headquarters.

The class toured MI Technologies’ manufacturing facilities, the Company’s compact range and near-field antenna test range, and also received a briefing on the MI-3000 Data Acquisition and Analysis software and the MI-2097 Automated Microwave Measurement System.

Jeff Fordham, Vice President of Marketing for MI Technologies, said, “It’s always a pleasure to host Dr. Ed Joy’s antenna measurement class. MI Technologies has supported this annual program for many years. This year, most of the class participants are associated with organizations that operate antenna test ranges. After a week of intense study, they were pleased to walk through our test ranges and manufacturing areas and see real-world test and measurement equipment demonstrated. MI Technologies' strength and leadership in antenna test and measurements was evident for all to see.”

Dr. Brian Tian, senior systems engineer, gives students from the Georgia Tech antenna measurement class a tour of MI Technologies’ new compact range facility. The test range is available on a contract basis for MI Technologies’ customers.

Marion Baggett, Manager, Software Engineering, provides an overview of the MI Technologies’ MI-3000 Data Acquisition and Analysis software and MI-2097 Automated Microwave Measurement System.
