Dr. Carlo Rizzo Elected to AMTA Board of Directors

ATLANTA: Dr. Carlo Rizzo, director of European Operations for MI Technologies has been elected to the AMTA (Antenna Measurement Techniques Association) Board of Directors during the annual Fall Symposium Oct. 31-Nov. 4.

Dr. Rizzo will serve as AMTA’s Secretary during the first year of his three-year term.

Breyer, President and CEO of MI Technologies, said “We are very pleased and congratulate Carlo on his appointment to the AMTA Board. AMTA is the leading technical and professional organization for those individuals and organizations advancing the state-of-the-art in antenna measurements, our core business. Having Carlo on the AMTA Board will help MI Technologies keep abreast of changes in this dynamic industry.”

Dr. Rizzo is responsible for all of MI Technologies’ sales activities in Europe and oversees the Company’s European manufacturer representatives, marketing communications programs and product installations.

Dr. Rizzo holds a PhD degree in Antenna Measurements from the University of Sheffield, a Master of Science Degree in Radio Frequency Communication Engineering from the University of Bradford, a Certificate in Management from the UK’s Open University and a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of York. 

A Chartered Engineer, Dr. Rizzo is a member of the IEE (The Institution of Electrical Engineers), the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) and the Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA).
