ATLANTA: MI Technologies announced today it has been selected by the Universita’ di Napoli Federico II (Naples, Italy) to supply and commission a state-of-the-art indoor test and measurement chamber on the University campus.
MI Technologies’ automated test and measurement systems are used by customers in communications, commercial and government markets around the world to evaluate wireless and satellite communication systems, telematics antennas, radomes, radar cross section (RCS) and microwave component characteristics.
Under terms of the contract, MI Technologies will design and install an indoor anechoic test chamber and antenna measurement system that can be used for cylindrical near-field and planar near-field and far-field measurements. The chamber will be equipped with a customer furnished receiver and the MI-3000 Data Acquisition and Analysis Workstation with a state of the art planar scanner and associated positioners for the far-field element of the project.
