MI Technologies Receives NASA Quality Recognition

ATLANTA-- Citing a record of quality performance, NASA officials have recognized MI Technologies as a quality supplier for NASA's robotic space programs. The citation from the NASA Supplier Outreach and Process Control Assurance Program was presented during a brief ceremony at MI Technologies' Suwanee, Georgia facilities.

Charles (Chuck) Holloway, Quality Assurance Consultant for NASA, said, "MI Technologies' sustained effort to create and keep in place effective quality controls throughout its organization merits NASA's recognition as a quality supplier. "MI Technologies has demonstrated the continued dedication and diligence necessary to provide high quality products," Holloway said.

Holloway spoke on behalf of NASA's Supplier Outreach and Process Control Assurance (SOPCA) program. SOPCA is a NASA-wide effort to provide suppliers with information and tools to aid in the continual improvement of process control and to share NASA's belief in the importance of maintaining process controls.

MI Technologies supports a number of NASA programs through the design and installation of microwave test and measurement equipment for the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

John E. Breyer, president and CEO of MI Technologies, said, "Process improvement is of primary importance for any organization, large or small. NASA is doing an excellent job reviewing and improving their processes to help ensure their missions are completed on time and on budget. As a supplier to NASA and its prime contractors, MI Technologies is pleased to make the same commitment to quality and process control."
