MI Technologies Appoints James
Rowland, Director, Customer Service
Atlanta: --James (Jim) Rowland has been named Director, Customer
Service, at MI Technologies, reporting to Tom Darling, Vice President,
Customer Support, the Company announced.
As Director, Customer Service, Rowland is responsible for managing MI
Technologies’ global Field Service network, Training and Certification
programs, Warranty and Post Warranty services, Calibration and Repair
services, Equipment Refurbishment and Customer Range Verification
services.
Prior to joining MI Technologies, Rowland was president of Ultra
Electronics, EMS Development Corporation of Yaphank, New York, where he
had overall responsibility for the company’s strategy, operations and
business growth. Prior to that he served in a variety of management and
engineering positions with BAE Systems, Austin, Texas; Systems Research
Laboratories, Dayton Ohio, and Texas Instruments, Lewisville, Texas.
In making the announcement, Tom Darling said, “We are very fortunate to
have Jim lead our Customer Service business with its very broad offering
of products and services. He is an experienced engineer and manager with
demonstrated management and technical skills gained from more than 25
years of experience supplying custom avionics, advanced electronics and
military hardware to customers worldwide. His leadership and technical
ability will help us develop this key business unit.”
Rowland holds a bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the
Georgia Institute of Technology and is a certified Project Management
Professional.
