Raymarine Selects MI Technologies to Provide an Indoor Antenna Test and Measurement Chamber
ATLANTA: MI Technologies announced today it has been selected by Raymarine (Portsmouth, UK) to supply and commission a state-of-the-art indoor antenna test and measurement chamber for the production department.
Raymarine, the world leader in marine electronics, develops and manufactures the most comprehensive range of electronic equipment for the recreational boating and light commercial marine markets.
MI Technologies’ automated test and measurement systems are used by customers in communications, commercial and government markets around the world to evaluate wireless and satellite communication systems, telematics antennas, radomes, radar cross section (RCS) and microwave component characteristics.
Under terms of the contract, MI Technologies will design and install an indoor anechoic test chamber and antenna measurement system that can be used for cylindrical near-field testing. The chamber will be equipped with a customer furnished microwave receiver and the MI-3000 Data Acquisition and Analysis Workstation with a state-of-the art horizontal cylindrical near-field test system.
