MI Technologies Expands European Customer Support

New Organization Provides Enhanced Service to UK and European Customers

ATLANTA -- MI Technologies has realigned its European Customer Support and Service function to provide enhanced service and faster, more direct communications, the Company announced.

As part of the realignment, the Company has expanded its Customer Support staff in its United Kingdom service center to support customers in the European region. In a related move, the Company has discontinued the use of Cal Info Mesure to support European customers.

Jim Rowland, Director of Customer Support for MI Technologies, said, "Our goal is to provide fast response and technically superior service to our European customers. Consistent with this goal, we have expanded the service capability in our UK facility and we will continue to provide excellent service on the Continent through our UK based Customer Support team and through our service representative, Mediterranean Technologies, based in Rome."

As part of the program to expand European Customer Support services, the Company announced the appointment of Richard J. Whalley to its Customer Support Staff in the UK.

Whalley joins MI Technologies with more than 24-years experience in Microwave and RF test and measurement engineering support including extensive field experience. Prior to joining MI Technologies, Whalley served with Spectral Dynamics Ltd. as a customer support engineer. Prior to that, he served as a technician engineer for Marconi Instruments Ltd.

MI Technologies Customer Support Center offers calibration and repair service on all MI Technologies and legacy Scientific-Atlanta test and measurement equipment for antenna, radar or radome measurements. The center provides support for systems, products, upgrades, software updates and repairs to new and existing customers through site visits, telephone and E-Mail.
