MI Technologies Names Charles Liang Strategic Account Manager for Asia

ATLANTA-- MI Technologies, a leading worldwide supplier of microwave test and measurement products, systems and service, has appointed Charles Liang of Duluth, Ga., to the position of Strategic Account Manager for Asia reporting to Michael Murphy, Vice President, Sales.

In this new position, Liang will be responsible for the Company’s new business efforts for the Asian region working with in-country partners and the MI Technologies' Engineering and Business resources to accelerate the growth of the Company's business in the region.

Prior to this appointment, Liang served as a Program Manager for MI Technologies being responsible for the profit and loss of key initiatives and coordinating a number of successful test and measurement installations in the United States and Asia. He joined MI Technologies in 2002 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer where he performed product design and analysis, production support, and project team leadership for mechanical positioning systems and automation systems.

In announcing the appointment, Murphy said, "We are very fortunate to have Charles direct our new business efforts in the Asia. He is a superb communicator and his demonstrated engineering and program management skills help build credibility and trust with our in-country representatives and customers."

Liang holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Ohio University, a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio.
