James Rowland Named to Lead MI Technologies' Customer
Support Unit
ATLANTA--James (Jim) Rowland has been named Director of MI Technologies'
Customer Support business unit, the Company announced.
In this new assignment, Rowland is responsible for managing MI Technologies' entire global Field Service network, Software Maintenance, Training and Certification programs, Warranty and Post Warranty services, Calibration and Repair services, Equipment Refurbishment and Customer Range Verification services. He also oversees MI Technologies' in-house test and measurement services conducted in two anechoic chambers at its Suwanee, Georgia facility.
Rowland joined the MI Technologies management team in June, 2007. Prior to joining MI Technologies, he served as president of Ultra Electronics, EMS Development Corporation of Yaphank, New York, where he had overall responsibility for the company's strategy, operations and business growth. Prior to that he served in a variety of management and engineering positions with BAE Systems, Austin, Texas; Systems Research Laboratories, Dayton Ohio, and Texas Instruments, Lewisville, Texas.
In making the announcement, John E. Breyer, President and CEO of MI Technologies said, "Jim is an energetic and experienced manager. We are very fortunate to have him take direction of our Customer Support business with its very broad offering of products and services. His leadership and technical ability will help us further develop this key business unit."
Rowland holds a bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a certified Project
Management Professional.
