New MI-710 Position Controller Broadens System Flexibility

MI Technologies' MI-710 Position Controller provides the servo amplifier drive capability needed to accurately control a broad range of positioning systems including rotary positioners, planar scanners, arches, gantries, turntables, and custom designs.

The controller is capable of driving low, medium, and high power motors up to 5 HP and operates with a variety of devices commonly used for velocity and position feedback.

Backward Compatible
The MI-710 Position Controller is compatible with MI Technologies family of MI-4190 Position Controllers while providing enhanced flexibility and expandability for the future. The MI-710 can be configured as a direct replacement for the MI-4192, MI-4193, and MI-4195 Power Amplifier Units.

Modular Design for Future Growth
The MI-710 Position Controller incorporates a modular approach to meet a wide variety of position control applications and the flexibility to meet changing needs. Each unit can be configured with the servo amplifiers and interfaces required for an immediate need and later reconfigured with new or additional modules to meet future requirements.
