UCLA Extension program four-day short course in Microwave Antenna Measurements
to be held on the UCLA campus May 12-15, 2009.
This course is an intensive study of all aspects of the measurement of microwave
antenna characteristics. Specifically, Dr. Hess will be lecturing in five
sessions: Spherical Near-Field Scanning with examples of SNF Range
Implementations; an Introduction to Antenna Measurement, Radome Testing and the
relationships between antennas and radomes; Compact Ranges; and the Design and
Evaluation of Far-Field Ranges. Dr. Bodnar will lead and lecture sessions in an
Introduction to Antennas, Antenna Range Instrumentation and Measurement of Gain
