MI Technologies Introduces Cost-Effective Wireless/PCS Antenna Measurement System
New product offers accuracy and ease of use
for outdoor and indoor far-field antenna measurements.
ATLANTA: MI Technologies has introduced a new antenna amplitude measurement system designed to meet the needs of the Wireless and PCS antenna markets. The MI-3610 Antenna Amplitude Measurement System provides fast, cost-effective antenna measurement capability from 100 MHz to 8 GHz in outdoor or indoor far-field antenna measurement configurations.
The MI-3610 accurately measures sidelobe levels to -40dB with a noise floor level of approximately -70dBm. The system can acquire multiple frequency characteristics in a single scan. Built-in analysis software simplifies pattern evaluation. The software supports antenna pattern analysis, data presentation and data output. Data files can be plotted in polar or rectangular formats for single or multiple traces.
John E. Breyer, MI Technologies Chief Executive Officer, said, "Wireless and PCS markets are expanding rapidly worldwide. Antenna testing for these applications must be accomplished quickly and cost-effectively to support the market growth. Our new MI-3610 Antenna Amplitude Measurement System offers comprehensive testing at a fraction of the cost of standard antenna test modes. In addition, the system's built-in analysis software provides users with the pattern analysis and data presentation files they need in readily usable formats increasing their productivity."
